Chinese Music Instrument Music Courses:
Our Chinese music instrument courses include Guzheng, Erhu and Dizi etc.
Guzheng, also known as Chinese zither or Chinese harp, is a Chinese traditional plucked musical string instrument with over 2500 years of history. Erhu sometimes known in the West as the ‘Chinese violin’ is used as a solo instrument as we as in small ensembles and large orchestras. Dizi or Chinese bamboo flute is one of the most popular instruments in traditional Chinese music. It is played horizontally, much like a western flute, and is commonly carved out of a single piece of bamboo with a cork-lined blow-hole.
We approach Guzheng, Erhu and Dizi courses with the respect the instrument deserves and believe the courses are tailored specifically to each student’s skill level and individual learning desires.
